Terms of service
Draft for legal review. This wording was prepared as a starting point and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The legal entity name, registered address and contact details are not yet confirmed.
Using CHNLS
CHNLS lets artists run their own music channels and lets fans join those channels with a monthly membership. Each membership belongs to one channel only. Joining one channel never signs you up to another.
Memberships
The artist running a channel is the seller of its membership. Prices, renewal and cancellation are described on the recurring payments page and shown before you pay.
Artists
- Artists must hold or control the rights needed to stream the music they upload, in every territory they make it available.
- A rights declaration on CHNLS is a statement by the artist. It is not a licence granted by CHNLS, and CHNLS review does not clear rights.
- Distribution through another service does not by itself grant streaming rights on CHNLS.
Content removal
We may pause playback, pause new sales or hide a channel while we look into a report. Artists can appeal a removal.
Not yet final
Governing law, liability limits and dispute terms will be added after legal review.
